:D

Not sure we'll ever see a NZB Matrix type site again, so private NewzNabs are the way to go.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Updated the F.A.Q.: now indexing 131 groups.

With the index using every option possible (including custom spam checking I added), the last pass took 22 minutes for a complete update (binary/release), which also performs sphinx updates, T.V. schedule updates, and other non-release stages. This test was run late in the day at 7:19pm EST (we have table optimizations set to run at 3am EST daily -- it would have run a bit faster on a clean state).

This process will be sped up quite a bit more by new hardware due to arrive next week. ;)

(Although we should note that this is the slow time of the year when there aren't a ton of releases being posted.)

Very nice.

I have 10 groups in mine at the moment, and it skips through in a few minutes, depending on the number of releases.

We'd better not advertise too much ;)

Is this a closed forum for non-usenet members ??

And you have all the scraping options enabled? Have you done any imports from the hosted archives or backfilling?

It's private -- only people with access to the indexer directly have access to this forum.

I set up one also and played with backfilling by importing the nzb's from the torrents they have but the files are so large and contain SO many nzb's that I didn't think it was worth it to bother. I also did a bit of backfilling on a few groups and that worked but I don't know how bennifical it was.

I'm currently only indexing about 25 groups and the updates don't take too long. I don't do the password or rar checking. I think I have all the scraping enabled but your site get different movie posters for some of the movies.

Not sure about all of the scrapes ??

Haven't backfilled as only personal use and only want to go forward.

How did you get "View Series" & "Aired Today" information per release:

That's the scraping options. AniDB, TV Rage, thetvdb.com, Amazon, etc.

It's what takes most of the time during a pass.

OK, thanks.

I'll have a look to see where they are set.
