Hey, Thanks for the demo/video. Very useful.
Some question raised thru the demo though. What is the advantage of using SabNZBd compared to uTorrent? Except for download the software and follow your guide, what else do I need to get i to work? Do I need uTorrent at all if I go the SabNZBd path?
Thanks, Peter

SabNZBd is for usenet downloads and uTorrent for torrents -- you're really asking what the benefits of usenet is over torrents and that's something we could really talk about all day. perese wrote: Except for download the software and follow your guide, what else do I need to get i to work? You need a usenet account from a provider, most of which are not free -- I pay $13/mo for NewsHosting.com. Some usenet providers are free (Google for "free usenet") but have bandwidth or other usage restrictions. Good for trying it out, though. perese wrote: Do I need uTorrent at all if I go the SabNZBd path? I use both and if I can't find my downloads through usenet, I fall back on torrents (which are slower and far less private/secure).

Pete... great tutorial! I've been using this like you do, but I missed a few of the points you showed. Thank you!
Question, and I may have missed this, but are your processing scripts available anywhere? Thanks!

Hi Pete, I modified a version of this video to use uTorrent to download the T.V. series "Teen Titans Go" for my son. At first, I had the quality settings at "720 if available, else 1080", but there were none. So I dropped that down to "any available". We already have Seasons 1 and 2, so I told it I only wanted episodes from Jan 1, 2015. When I search ( https://torrentz.eu/search?q=teen+titans+go), I find lots of episodes that are from Season 3, but MCM only downloaded 4 - and 3 of those were from Season 2. I don't particularly like saying what I'm downloading, but this is a working example of something that isn't going right. Is there something I am doing wrong? What is the "Application > T.V. series title detection override..." for? I have entered the series there, but I don't understand if that is telling MCM "Do NOT fetch these" or something different. Also, after using "Media > Add a T.V. series...", how do I go in to edit those settings to check what MCM is using?

@jp2code Please use the "Support & General" forum for help with program issues. When posting refer to the guide you are using and include your "Support Information." Also, enable debug logging through Help menu and provide the relevant activity log messages (Ctrl+L if log file is needed). There are 3 - 4 topics with current postings relating to torrent and uTorrent problems, read through them. If your issue is related to one reply to it, instead of opening a new thread. jp2code wrote: What is the "Application > T.V. series title detection override..." for? See: "Problem TV Series, Search Terms, Overrides, & Re-downloading" (here) for the short and long answers to your question and for more information about dealing with problematic TV series.

I finally got around to watching this video and major kudos Pete! Now I understand how to configure it I need to figure out why using Sab would be better than using just MCM to suck files from Usenet.
It would be great if the search's we could perform for a show were more flexible as I left in feature requests. As in searching for an entire season instead of a per episode. Yes usually this is more likely available as a Torrent but I have found entire seasons on Usenet.
