The installer weighs in at 35.4 MB and wraps around various codecs, plugins, and registry hacks that I found useful when setting up Windows Media Center from scratch. All of the components are optional, so if you only want to change certain settings, you'll be able to during the installation process.

What it contains:
  • GraphStudio (x86 & x64) 0.3.1
  • Haali Matroska Splitter (x86) 1.10.262.12 released Aug 14, 2010
  • Haali Matroska Splitter (x64) beta 1.9.63.13 released Dec 19, 2009
  • HeatWave (x86 & x64) 1.3.1
  • K-Lite Codec Pack (x86, Full) 6.4.0 released Sep 11, 2010
  • K-Lite Codec Pack (x64) 3.9.0 released Sep 16, 2010
  • Media Center Master 1.26 released Sep 18, 2010
  • MediaBrowser 2.2.8 (Orion) released Sep 21, 2010

What it does:
Allows playback of MKV through the Haali splitter, general audio/video playback through ffdshow codecs, allows you to install MediaBrowser (a variety of versions depending on your needs), allows you to install Media Center Master, allows you to install HeatWave (a weather plugin for WMC), allows you to remove the default Movies/Video Library strip and/or replace it with a MediaBrowser strip, and allows you to install GraphStudio 32-bit and 64-bit versions to test codecs and DirectShow filters.

Extra Info:
This setup should work for Windows Vista and Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions (x86/x64). All sub-installers are deleted after they finish installing to conserve space/clutter.

During the course of the installation, other installers may be launched. When they are, sometimes they show up underneath this window so that it looks like nothing is happening. If the installation is taking a long time to complete a step, please check to see if there is another install waiting for you to interact with.

I do not represent most of the software redistributed in this installation package, including but not limited to K-Lite Codec Packs, ffdshow, Haali Splitter, MediaBrowser, HeatWave, GraphStudio, or Windows Media Center. I do, of course, represent Media Center Master as I am the author.

I make no claims of warranty for this software. You use it at your own risk and liability. ;)

And finally, enjoy!
