Hi, I want to add RSS feeds from a private tracker for MCM to download from.

Could somebody tell me how it works? What does "Filtered" mean?

Is it supposed to download every torrent in the list? I only want it to download new episodes of shows already in my list.

I've got 3 feeds for different categories I want to add, here's a log with private parts starred out

MCM: Downloading torrents from your feeds...
MCM: *** (filtered)
MCM: ... https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp=***;l22;download
[19:33:23.747] Fetching URL (GET): https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp=***;l22;download
MCM: *** (filtered)
MCM: ... https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp= ... s0=2;s1=10
[19:33:23.889] Fetching URL (GET): https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp= ... s0=2;s1=10
MCM: *** (filtered)
MCM: ... https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp=***;l5;download
[19:33:24.072] Fetching URL (GET): https://***.com/torrents/rss?u=5***;tp=***;l5;download
MCM: Finished processing feeds

If you need the full RSS URL I can pm it.

Thanks
Stu :D

Was about to ask the same question. The private tracker that I use offers RSS in two flavours "Web URL" and "Direct Download" and neither seems to be triggering any sort of download for me. I see that MCM is definitely pulling down the RSS feed and get similar log entries to those that OP is getting.

Nope, I don't know. Last thing I remember reading was that Pete was going to explain them after his surgery.. I havn't seen a post explaining them. If I had to guess, I would imagine the filters are the same ones setup to look for uTorrent files but that is only a guess.

Does anyone have any new info regarding this feature? I have 3 private trackers set up and see the feeds being grabbed but it's not doing anything with the list. Any help in getting this set up would be awesome.

Call me dumb and I will accept the nickname, but, I have not been able to get the program to show anything in the S&P > Torrents tab > "Configure RSS/XML torrent feeds ..." option.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

When adding a feed, the feed must contain at least one valid item or it won't be added to the list. Valid items must include a title, a link, and the size of the torrent contents.
