Really need an alternative to TVDB as they are having issues again and nothing will process.

To put it mildly the change of their site and the switch is short of being a disaster. Can't get anything scraped and are having to do manual creation of metadata.

I totally agree there needs to be an alternative to thetvdb as it sucks big time. To their failure in the switch you have in addition this massive error 503 problem.

A question I presume the MCM is running version 2 of their API?

Mine are gradually processed but it is hit and miss.

You can change to imdb but that creates other issues with images.

How do you change to IMDB? I don't have a problem with the images as I create many myself, at present I try to scrap an Amazon TV show "Der Lack is ab / The Glory is Gone" since it is in German I switched to the German language for TV but all I get is "TV fetcher source is offline!". It doesn't matter if it is in German or English with the English title "The Glory is Gone".

I hope that their mess will be sorted soon. Don't understand how they can mess up so badly. For registration I don't remember my email address since it has been almost 10 years that I registered. The f...d up royally.

EDIT:
Never mind I found the place where to manage the fetchers.

Is Pete still around? If he is he needs to step up and make a definitive decision regarding the this issue as half the reason I use MCM (TV series) is now gone and I only have half a reason to renew my MCM license when it does expire.
