Is it time that Media Center Master adds support for automatic download of movies and TV? This could be a huge undertaking that may cause massive rewrite in the way fallback qualities are handled.

I know people will want it but almost 15GB for one 1hr show is extreme to me.

In my area, more cable channels are no-copy so the option for saving movies from cable is dropping fast. I'd wait for awhile and see what happens to cablecards in 2016 if i were you.

In any case i wish you luck in whatever decision you make.

Just bought a Samsung 55" 4k + 3D TV so I'm doing that format outside of MCM for now. 4K is at the start of getting out there but eventually all will be 4k. It'll be the "DVD to Blu-Ray upgrade" all over again.

I'm with doug here, I have no need for 15+GB files, but others may utilize it

Yes.
It's time to keep up with the latest technologies.

NOTE: I have all 13 episodes of Jessica Jones in 4K/10-bit/5.1 and the entire season was only 19GB.
Each show was about 1.6GB.
This is the great thing about x265/HEVC. All the quality at a smaller size.

I cannot afford 4k screens.. if u want to donate me some for testing.. I can say they will be used about 18-20 hours a day.. all I do is watch tv / movies and game.. but.. do I seek out 4k downloads .. no hell no!

I watch on 2 monitors.. main one not even being full hd. gaming one is.. not video one.. so 4k.. could care less at this point .. maybe in 5-10 years. then they offier 8k, 12k or 16k then I will be able to afford 4k.. lol..

When u support a diabetic 24 yr old child of the woman you are with.. and your income is limited an you cant even afford food cause hes a big person and has specific needs.... then 4k takes a back seat..but I will wouldn't pass up a MCM lifetime license.. best software I have purchased in the last 10 years.. anything else I have paid for has long ago vanished. The only software I have been able to use and still keep my license working has been MCM.. thanks Pete, Without your non stop updates and tweaks.. I would be such an unhappy camper. Appreciate the hard work!! Thanks ;)
