I got a new bluray of RR Trains and the videos are in m2ts, DTS format.

I got the bluray vids downloaded to my computer with the latest MCM when i remembered that MCM cannot just put "part1 and "part2" at the end to play them continuously.

Is there a program that is free to "stitch" these shows together into one movie and not lose the m2ts and DTS that they are?

I did find the documentary and it is just one tt number.

Update - Anyone? IMDB has the documentary and a tt number, but the bluray has split the documentary up in to 5 files so I want to "stitch" them together to make one file. The only other factor is I still want to keep this in the m2ts format along with the DTS audio.

No one has a program that can do this?

Really, 7 days and no one has ever had to stitch two movie clips together. W

I know your topic is very old, but what you're looking to do is called concatenating videos (also sometimes called joining or merging). You'll need compatible video streams and a program with an encoder capable of running through a concat filter. I do this with FFMPEG myself.

Make sure all your videos are the same exact framerate (not different and not variable). Bitrate can vary. They also need to be the same exact dimensions (width x height). Create a .txt file including each video such as:

Code:
video1.m2ts
video2.m2ts
video3.m2ts

Then encode with FFMPEG with desired settings, referencing the concat filter and your list .txt file. Example:

Code:
ffmpeg.exe -f concat -safe 0 -i LISTOFVIDEOPARTS.txt -c:v libx264 -preset slow -crf 18 -field_order bb -pix_fmt yuv420p -movflags faststart -c:a copy OUTPUTFILENAME.mkv

More info on FFMPEG's concat filter:

Thanks Pete. Got put on the back-burner, but still on radar. I'll take a look at that program and I will try it out.

Also, if you don't mind mkv containers, you can do the same in MKVToolNix's GUI for those that don't care for command lines.
