I guess this would fit into enhancement/feature requests, as this isn't a bug of MCM, rather an unrelated issue Microsoft caused, affecting my ability to use MCM.

Some background:
Had my setup working beautifully until Microsoft's most recent Windows update. Appears they hosed my Samba share setup pretty good. While unsuccessful at fixing that issue in general, I've done different work-arounds to try to keep things running.

Unfortunately, none of the workarounds have worked for MCM. I cannot seem to get MCM's Scan folders to point to my any Network Drives I've mapped (with drive letters), I cannot use the network browser to directly connect to the hostname entity due to Microsoft's changes, and I cannot directly enter my fileserver's specific paths (ex: \\192.168.1.1\Video\).

Would it be possible to fix the "Browse for Folder" window to show mapped network drives, or allow direct-entry of network paths?

Just had a thought about how to get around this, but didn't work out...

Attempted to modify the settings.xml files for each of my profiles and replace the hostname that no longer works with the IP for the network locations, however every time I start up MCM, it reverts back to the hostname settings :(

Whelp, the manual xml edits stuck today, so appears I have a work-around.
