Yup, I did the same and that's what happened.

Other things stopped working too:
- Some movies stopped being detected by MCM - path taking too long
- TV series stopped being organized to library - invalid video data on all files

I have been using MCM since 2010 and this never happened before. I have 1200 movies and 170 TV series spread across 7 NAS shares. This update rendered the program quite unusable.

My Windows 10 version:
Windows 10 Home
Version 1709
OS Build 16299.431

We don't seem to be the only ones with this problem:

I can't reproduce but all my media is local via drivepooling. So not reliant of NAS systems. Also my system has update to Windows version 1803.

Hi gents i'm new to the forum.

I am using MCM to get my kodi information and poster material.
Loving the MCM program but a while ago it stopped showing video quality information of newly added movies.
I followed steps above without luck.

It doesnt bother me that much but i now also start to have a whole list that stays yellow highlighted.

Just chiming in that I'm seeing this as well. All my content is on a QNAP NAS. My task manager is full of ffprobe.exe and Console Window Host processes nested under MCM and the processor is pegged at 100% and they're transferring a lot of data. They appear to keep running after MCM is closed until I manually stop the MCM process, then a few get orphaned and those have to be stopped 1 at a time. This just started after the latest update.

See my fix (rollback still working) higher in this thread.

Hi Pete,

That solved it for me:

- CPU issues
- Slow analysis of video files
- Processes being left behind
- Preventing from organizing to library

Completely gone.

Thanks a lot!
