Hi All,

Is there a known issue with the API for TVDB in the last couple days. I noticed they updated their website layout. Did changing this data layout change their API?

For the past 2 days I have been unable to "Process new Downloads" of any TV episodes. These shows (The Rook, Pennyworth, City on a Hill) processed great in the past but now get the "Can't detect...." seen below. I tried adding an override, no difference. The movies are processing OK, so I went to TVDB website to see if it wad down. I noticed they restyled their website at the season and episode levels. Their search also operate differently now. One MCM user stated having issues with his TV show Score and Status updates. Is this all part of API issues with TVDB?

I will hang tight for a few days and try processing again.

LOG EXAMPLE:

6:31 PM :: MCM: The file is not named in a way I understand. If this is a T.V. episode and you have a scan folder set up for it, then you may want to add a T.V. detection override settings to manually map a series description to its ID.

There are a couple topics, but Pete is aware of the update. Assuming it is related to the update, but I haven't had any issues processing episodes yet.

Debug logging should show more information.

Not related to the new MCM update, it looks like they've rolled out a new version of their API, so changes will need to be made in MCM to accommodate it. Nothing for you to do but wait for an update from me.

Appear to be the same as previous posts. TVDB not returning episode name, but api link is broke.

Current status: they just switched to the v3 API but the data for that site version is over a month old and nobody can log in or reset passwords. They're working on it, but until then, I can't even look at API documentation to implement v3.

They fixed the issue with passwords so I'm able to get into the API. They're still importing old data forward so not everything looks like it should at their site yet.

Here's the status in MCM adapting to v3 of their API (v2 was retired yesterday):

Just need to add season-level artwork and clean up some code and then swap all instances of v2 with v3 throughout the program. Then I can release an update. Hoping to get to that in a few hours.

Please use auto-update to receive version 2.19 build 21219.927 (2.19.21219.927).

This version implements thetvdb.com's new version 3 of their API. https://github.com/psouza4/mediacenterm ... ssues/1850 Not all of their data is available in the new API database, so if some shows aren't showing up correctly, it may take them a few days or longer to fix this. Nothing I can do about that in the meanwhile.

Additionally, this update also adds IMDb backup support for the Update Score & Status feature so voted ratings on TV shows work as intended again. https://github.com/psouza4/mediacenterm ... ssues/1851

Working great.

MCM is like a Cadillac crossbred with a John Deere! Love it.

Only issue still would be the Summary tab id links. But it appears to be on their to do list.

Tried the auto update method but it does not download the version that corrects theTVDB problem. Will this be forthcoming through auto update?

Thanks
