I stopped getting episode images, forum help suggested I switch TV fetcher down to TVDB V2 (Applications>Manage Fetchers & Plugins). Episode images are working again.

What am I missing by not using TVDB API V3. Is there something I can read somewhere?

Just different ways to get the same information. TVDB attempted to launch the new v3 api but ran into to many issues and has to rollback to v2 to accommodate all the users/devs that posted issues.

I have noted issues getting images occasionally on both as TVDB is migrating stuff around.

So until TVDB finish everything they plan to do it is going to be hit and miss.

Thank Doug.

Excellent info as always from you.

Because of weird behavior I "Cleared cache, full media refresh". This left a dozen show names appear as <error>. They appeared to be missing their series ID number in the XML file - fetch metadata fixed it.

Now the Download History is not updating. It shows all the season 1 episodes for 3 shows that start with "B" but none of the 8 new episodes I just parsed, which are all from different shows. I tried toggliing the checkboxes. I'll wait for another software update. Thanks.

We can close this.
