One of the nice things about the full version of MCM is how it captures the metadata in the movie database. What I would like to know is if it is easy to capture whether the file is in HDR or not? Basically as I sure a number of users have noticed that HDR media can looked washed out is watched through some SDR devices. Therefore knowing which media might require 2 versions would be useful. MCM already captures the general quality as well as video details, so being able to quickly identify all HDR media would be super useful. |

Nudge... Any thoughts, or possibilities of including this? transcoding is one thing, but doing tone-mapping is quite an effort, so identifying which files are HDR would be really helpful. |
