I have not found a way to create .tbn files for all episodes in a series that are already in the collection.

Is there a way to do this, or does someone need to request a new feature?

I have found the tool to do this for a single episode, one at a time, but this takes a while for shows with several seasons/episodes.

I realize I could also run the series back through the download worker.

Don't create a feature request to add an automated method to do this -- it can already be done.

Just fetch the show -- episodes missing thumbnails will auto-extract if the option is enabled.

I am a bit lost here, "Just fetch the show."

Right click a series title in the collection list and choose:

Fetch metadata, or

Fetch...

Yep, should... as long as you have the open enabled in the Artwork tab in Settings & Preferences.

I take it your talking about, "Automatically extract frames from video files if no artwork is found."

I have that enabled. The feature works while I am processing episodes thru the watch folder, and if I select an episode and use the right click tool. The feature is not working on a series title for me.

Is there any other settings needed to do a complete series?

If no, then I will move this issue to the Bug Report Forum.

It'll skip if you already have metadata for the episode (or else this feature could really bring a system to its knees). You could clear out metadata and re-fetch if you're unconcerned with replacing metadata. This really isn't a bug; this is intentional design.

What can I say, the work you do to MCM just make me, too, lazy.
