It would be good feature if the log tab was permanently shown on a separate panel
either under the Left or right panel (and be resizeable)

That way I can look at the Summary tab and still see what is happening in the log at the same time

Currently I need to keep on switching back and forth between the two tabs.

Also it would be a good if there was a way to hide each of those panels with a tab or button
so when you click, it slides in to hide or slide out to show etc..

Please don't bump requests. If it's not in the issue tracker, add it and subscribe to notifications for the issue. Feature requests do not need approval at the forums first.

Incidentally, you can easily work around your request by enabling Preview mode from the View & Filtering Options... button at the bottom of the main media list. This lets you simply hover over a title to preview the Summary tab and when you leave hover, it returns back to the Activity Log.

Oh I didn't know
I thought they need to be replied to by admin/mod
and if it is a good idea then it can be added.

If I add the feature request, do you reply to it
about whether it will be implemented or not?

Yes, I know about Preview mode
I was the one that suggested that feature.

But I notice there is some bugs and performance issues when preview mode is enabled
-Bug = Cannot manually rename the file by clicking on the filename on the left panel.
-Performance issues, MCM feels more sluggish when moving the mouse across the movies as it generates the preview, and the graphics seems to not be updating as quickly.

I think this permanently showing log panel is a better feature
than preview mode.
I notice there is a lot of free empty space on the summary panel, so a separate log panel
underneath the original summary panel would be a better feature.
