Hi Pete , 1st like to say love the program - nice job for trailers, and other things meta browser cant find.

Anyway reason i here is to see if there is any way to have the trailers save with a _trailer or something that would cause them to be seen as the very 1st media file in a folder. I along with several others on the Media Browser forum are using Stark Covers and another program called EncodingCover.exe - this program lets stark covers place a nice little media info label on your covers. The problem is that it uses the last media file for it's labeling by default - so if there is an avi file and a .mov file for a trailer the cover will or can be labeled .mov instead of xvid or Divx etc.

Here is the link, I'm sure you know of it. I'm at a loss. Hope you understand what I'm getting at.

http://www.mediabrowser.tv/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1701&start=440 - about 2/3 way n page you will see my post with the .mov icon

Thanks, t41

Unfortunately, MediaBrowser has some major issues with trailers in the same folder as their movie, so I'm currently reconsidering how I store and reference trailer media for now.

In the current version (non-beta, at least), if the name of the trailer file alphabetically comes before the name of the media, it will be played first by MediaBrowser as if it were the movie. Likewise, the trailer will auto-play once the main movie has ended, even though MediaBrowser is aware of the trailer path/filename.

I'm waiting to see what they'll do in the new version before I make any final decisions on changing how trailer videos are stored.
