Post subject:  Looking for Missing Episodes
Hi,
I am hoping that there is a way that you can set a TV series so that when you do a missing episode check, that it will tag it out and not go thru all the seasons and episodes to see whats missing.
Therefore making the time to build the list much quicker.
As some TV series have so many seasons/episodes it take a long time to scan all the files.

This feature already exists.

Select the T.V. series from your list in Media Center Master. Click the Metadata tag on the right. Change the cut-off date for that specific show, which sets a marker for the earliest episodes will be downloaded or appear as missing on the missing episode HTML report.

What I mean is to be able to Highlight a group of titles like in the attached pic and then right click all of them and then from the menu that pops up add them to exclude list.
If you do it the way you say then you have to select each title and the select the tick box for only one title at a time.
I am talking a bunch of selected titles and be taged all at once. Or even to be able to lock out certain seasons.
Mythbusters for example has so many seasons (15) it would be great to lock out the completed seasons and leave the ones that have missing eps.
Maybe we could see what we have tagged out in colum like the locked titles are displayed etc

The better way to do this is set a global cutoff in Settings & Preferences which affects ALL shows. This should usually be set a few months to a year back from the current date anyway.

Hi,
I am asking for something that is more selective instead of ALL, hence the column idea so that you can later see what you have blocked and not blocked from being scanned.
At the moment it takes 40mins to do a scan for missing episodes with the amount of titles I have.
The series or Season needs to be locked out not the episode as it still scans the episode for a air date. Say you have s01 to s06 but not all s07 and then all of the rest up to s21 (Law and order) maybe, then you could leave it for s07 to remind you to find the missing eps but not scan the rest. this would save time in a scan.
