Hi I've been an avid MCM user for many years and paid for a full subscription about 3 or 4 years ago.
I use it to grab shows mostly, which are then picked up by my Plex server and automatically appear on my Plex channel.
Absolutely awesome app that has become an essential part of my setup. To make things a little easier, I'd really like to create my own MCM management tool that I'll host on the server to allow me to manage MCM on my mobile.
Do you have any plans to enable an API so a site could interact with MCM?
At the moment all I would really like to do remotely is:
Pause/resume all queues Execute tasks (such as process downloads) Search for and add TV Series Delete media
If not an API, maybe a watched folder where I can drop JSON/XML files with actions?
I could potentially just concentrate on using my frontend to manage the preferences (I can't recall if there is an ini file?) Because I could probably manage some tasks by tweaking the ini file then restarting the process.
Anything where MCM can receive an input would be helpful. Even a commandline option, as I can kill the process and launch it via php with the relevant parameters.
Currently MCM is the only thing I can't manage from my mobile, so this would be extremely useful.
I look forward to any feedback.
Kev

I second this. I'd take more cli commands even. I'd also like to be able to run scripts based on events (for example, when downloading a specific movie, being able to run a script if the movie isn't found).
I used autoIT to give myself some cli options
