Hi Dev team,
I would like to request the MCMStubLauncher executable be digitally signed. A self generated certificate is sufficient.
I'm running MCM on a Windows 2008 r2 desktop server. The server automatically logs on at startup, and runs a task at logon to lock the desktop. I have added MCM shortcut to the startup folder, but it requires a security confirmation to start as the publisher is unknown. With the MCMStubLauncher executable (self) singed, the certificate can be imported into trusted certificates allowing MCMStubLauncher to start without any prompts.
Thank you in advance Bruce

I do not have this issue on my WHS2011, but have you tried "Don't attemt UAC elevation"?

I used to sign the executable, there are reasons why I don't anymore.
Additionally, if you just want to self-sign it yourself there's no reason you can't (except having to do so any time the application is updated). You could set up an automated process for doing it, even.
