What was once a great app has turned into a bucket of crapola. Nobody is able to use it anymore and the author has been MIA or doesn't want to respond to posts. Can't get the app to rename files unless I install a version from 2021. Can't get the app to pull from IMDB. Can't get the app to accept my selection and have to manually enter the IMDB ref number. All in all, it's useless to me. I'm just going to use Kodi to scrape all my files from now on. Yeah, it's a PITA, but MUCH less than MCM has been.

IMDB issues a cease and desist a while ago so no you technically can not get from IMDB anymore.

Soo much wrong here. I use MCM daily to process TV, Movies.
Every! Single! Day!
If you want your TV files renamed, use a program called FileBot. Use MCM to get the Metadata.

And FYI, Kodi will scrape wrong an insane amount of time. So good luck with that.

Well, I'm certainly glad it works for someone!!It doesn't for me and hasn't for the past year or so. The latest version of MCM can't even rename files!

I'm now using Tiny Media Manager and it does EXACTLY what I needed MCM to do. And, FYI, Kodi scrapes a HELLUVA lot better than MCM ever did. And no more non-english posters and backgrounds from MCM! The amount of time TinyMM takes vs MCM is staggering, with TinyMM crushing MCM. Just the time I save from not re-authorizing MCM after every reboot is worth switching to TinyMM!
