I am having the same problem. Is there an easy way to roll back versions or do I have to manually reinstalll?

Just reinstall the version you want to rollback to.

all links to the installer files seem to be broken....any help?

It will rarely process new items, just sits there like its thinking of doing something but never does. logs dont give much insight to whats going on.

Have you tried disabling Multi-Threaded Fetching?
