I have been using MCM for years and I am finding the download parser ability to parse getting worse.

Code:
MCM:  Processing new downloads in: E:\Parser
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MCM:  Now working on Luther.1x06.HDTV.XviD-FoV.avi...
MCM:  Automatically detecting Luther.1x06.HDTV.XviD-FoV.avi...
MCM:      E:\Parser\Luther.1x06.HDTV.XviD-FoV.avi
MCM:  ... this is a T.V. show episode  Luther - 1x06 - "Episode 6"
MCM:  You don't seem to have a T.V. folder in your list of scan folders set up for Luther (series ID #159591).  Make sure there is a T.V. series folder added to your scan folders and that it has been fetched to include the correct series.  If that doesn't help, try using the T.V. detection override settings to manually map a series description to its ID.

MCM:  Moving and renaming to:
MCM:      E:\TV Shows\Luther\Season 1
MCM:      Luther - 01x06 - Episode 6.avi
MCM:  Fetching metadata for the new episode...

The above example are two ctrl+p requests to parse a folder, one immediately after another. The said TV Show has a folder, has an override all set up.

I am finding that I have to repeatedly ask it to parse and it seems very random as to whether it correctly finds a matching folder or not.

I have seen this occasionally also. Please enable debug logging and post log. But my bet is TVDB is/was having issues.

I was about to say that this happens almost 100% of the time, then of course it just worked first time.

I will see if I can get a debug log.
