When renaming a folders title for example: "Sex and the City to Sex And The City" The main file gets lost. It leaves the trailer but no movie file.

I have no issue here renaming files without data loss.

You'll have to provide some examples and of course follow the rules for submitting bugs.

It's only if you change a lowercase letter to an uppercase letter, the name is still the same just with an different case. Try it. I never knew why I kept losing files until today, I've been using this program for years and now I finally know why. I don't care if you fix it or not cause I know now what not to do I just figured I'll let people know this frustrating problem. I hope this helps others.

So all, don't choose drop down rename folder and change the folder name by only changing the letter case it will delete your main file in the folder.

This is reproducible. At least for Movies.
