I have had this issue for a while now, and it still persists as of the latest version today.

Sometimes MCM will incorrectly parse a new movie as the same title as the last one parsed. I believe this generally happens with BD movies, but not all the time. There was at least a couple hours between when the movies were parsed.

So in this case =HDvisUalS=BD25.Oz.The.Great.And.Powerful.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED was the first movie, and =HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED was the second. I have other examples if needed.

8:08 PM :: MCM: Detecting and processing: "d:\unsorted\=HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED"
8:08 PM :: MCM: Automatically detecting =HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED...
8:08 PM :: MCM: d:\unsorted\=HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED
8:08 PM :: MCM: video: d:\unsorted\=HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED\BDMV\STREAM\00000.m2ts
8:08 PM :: MCM: ... this is a movie: Oz the Great and Powerful (2013)
8:08 PM :: MCM: Moving to:
8:08 PM :: MCM: D:\Movies\temp\=HDvisUalS=BD25.Warm.Bodies.2013.1080p.DTS-HD.PASSWORDED

Can you describe how you are causing this to happen? For example, are you automatically fetching these movies using auto-scan? IS this coming from the download parser? Are these manual fetches? What kind of sorting do you use... are you clicking other titles during a fetch? Are you manually editing metadata using the Metadata tab during a fetch?

The movies are unrared to my download parser folder, and then the movies are processed by the download parser. I'm not doing anything manually.

So movie gets downloaded, uncompressed to d:\unsorted and then eventually MCM processes it.

Hmm, interesting -- that's the same feature I use and have never seen this happen. I'm wondering if, since nobody else has reported it, there's something else odd going on with your setup.

It mostly happens with movies that have BDMV structure. Sometimes though it will make a folder called 'unsorted' under where it moves movies to and then various media items that were in d:\unsorted will end up in there.

Maybe it has to do with how the folders are named?

If you have some BDMV movies you might be able to replicate it. Take one movie and just make a few copies of it and then rename the source folder like mine above. Then let MCM process one, before adding a second movie to the download parser.

If there's anything you want me to try just let me know.

Feel free to enter this into the Issue Tracker -- make sure you mention the BDMV part as well as link back to this thread. :)

This still happens with the latest version. The only way to fix it is to fetch the movie by the imdb ID. I had six or seven movies, and they all got entered as the first movie parsed.

I haven't done anything with this issue, that's why. :)

Did you enter this into the Issue Tracker?

No. I also noticed that even if you refetch the movie by IMDB it does not download the new logo for the movie, but it does download the proper backdrops.
