Used to be an hour show (42-50 minutes) would net a 1gb or so .mkv in 720. Numerous shows lately, especially Walking Dead, Amazon shows, Netflix and a few others come in at 2 or 3gb. It's incredible and unnecessary. Anyone know why this changed or what the real difference is? I'd like to find a way to combat the problem. Bad thing is I can usually go manually find a download in the sizes I'm used to without an issue. I've considered setting limits on file sizes it'll download but I'm afraid I'll miss things like double episodes or things like that as a result of restricting it

I've noticed this as well. Better quality would be my guess. I don't mind it anyway.
