Pete,

First of all I'd like to thank you for this fine application. It keeps getting better and better! I use MCM and Media Browser on Vista on a media center I built for my mother, and MCM keeps it user-friendly so she doesn't have to do anything besides tell me she wants a new show and I can remote in and add it, set it, and forget it!

However, we've run into a problem lately that I've tried to figure out. Sometimes the downloader pulls a bad file, and this is hard to prevent. I've seen you have implemented methods to check on the bad torrent/file and give us the option to re-download the file, but outside of that I need some help.

Sometimes she will wind up with an episode of, say, 24, where the audio is dubbed and it wasn't mentioned with the torrent, and it needs to be deleted and re-downloaded. I've set up Media Browser to allow for her to delete 'bad' files, but I've had a hard time getting MCM to recognize that this episode is missing and download it again. So far the only thing I've found that works is to remove the show and add it back and it will scan the show's old folder for episodes then continue to check if there are any missing.

Is there any way to have MCM keep track of when a file has been deleted or to rebuild the list of episodes on a schedule, or is there something I need to set Media Browser to do?

Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!

There's no way to do this yet, but you may be able to trick MCM by writing a script that edits its CSV database of your library to thinking it hasn't downloaded the episode you removed. Just edit the CSV in its app folder (same folder the logs are stored in) and you should be all set.
