As with most things in life you learn as you go.. if I had read the vast majority of posts here perhaps could have avoid none the less..

The Video Converter capability to change from MKV/AVI etc to MP4 would be a real bonus meaning less overheads on moving files around / renaming and a host of other day to day admin tasks.. for me adding a right click to convert would be AMAZING - a feature I would happily pay for.

The reduction of I/O CPU overheads alone would mean lots of people not running 4 Cores+ would benefit from.

Just a thought.

Why not whip up a batch file or any command-line converter (like FFMPEG) and set as a post-processing option in Media Center Master? No need for more features in MCM, I'm pretty sure this will cover your use case.
